Our Story
We’re Nick and Brandy, the couple behind Florence Farmstead—a creative homestead rooted in slow, thoughtful work, deep connection to land and place, and a shared belief in making things with care.
In 2024, we left city life to begin a new chapter on 15 wooded acres, building our home and shaping a more intentional way of living. Brandy creates art and design inspired by the natural world, while Nick brings practical skill and problem-solving to projects that support both our homestead and the wider community. Florence Farmstead is our shared vision—growing steadily, one handmade piece and garden bed at a time.
Here, we’re learning what it means to live resourcefully, creatively, and with presence. We share the land with our three dogs, a cat, and abundant wildlife. Our days are shaped by cooking from scratch, growing what we can, and allowing space for both rest and making.
